2011 updates for windows phone 7

for those of you who bought a windows phone 7 or plan on getting one more updates are on the way this year.

hear is a list of what is to come

IE 9 with HTML 5
3rd party multitasking and a film strip veiw of all open apps.

also the latist update was in feb, but is having some problems but is getting sorted out.
it adds copy paste, faster loading, and a changed up market place.

6 days till 3DS

its only days before the launch of the 3DS, but i don't have much time as im moving between houses so i thought i would take the time now to say some words before the 27th
but i also wanted to say that some best buy stores well having a midnight launch and some stores well be open early so u can claim your system, and they well have some demos up says reports so go check it out.
only 6 days till launch and if the us is any thing like japan then their are going to be a lot of sold out signs already. so if i can get one i well try to make a review for you all. if not i well when they are back in stock.

HTC arrive sprint first window s7 phone on CDMA network

this phone well be coming out march 20th for about 200$ (with contract). but of course if you decide to pay extra you can of course get it flashed over to cricket or metro PCS now that windows 7 phone is on CDMA.

their is tell of a verison phone as well but almost no info has bin said on it as its it also a HTC phone and some way its the same with a different name.


the phone is interesting because it has a tilt on the screen after you slide it out, which can make for some some what better laptop like typing. the phone has bin reviewed with lots of praise to the sound quality which is sort of a HTC standard. and because its HTC it well offer a HTC app store, and if you don't have your phone flashed u can still use the sprint app store on top of the windows 7 store, which also offers besides apps and games, but xbox life games with xbox approved quality, and the zune music store. this means that it well have HD videos, movies, tv shows, and zune music, but also means you can use zune pass on the go with your mobile phone and stream all the music you want for as long as your zune pass is good for.
a lot of the apps that use music have a cool tagging option to tag songs you like and adds them to your zune music cart.

the 7 phone also offers a free mobile office, cut & paste. a browser with tabs and flash mobile is coming (adobe and MS have said)

this well be the phone that i end up getting my self so i can tell you its more then a smart buy

windows 8 as of march 18th 2011

not a lot is known about the new W8 BUT, since a lot of word is going around of the new system and UI. their has also bin a lot of talk about what is going to be in the new version of windows.
so lets get to the rumors shall we?


1) people are saying that the UI well boot in several flavors. in other words the UI well boot to a point then ask what your going to use the system for. media/gaming/internet/office/exe or a full version. this would change performance areas in the pc and allow for better performance in that task. if your just going to play a movie then it wont take much power, as ware i gaming would rely more on the graphics card and less on your preprocessor, and the list goes on. this would make the UI amazing for not only at home or laptop, but grate for tablets

2) speaking of tablets, a lot of people say the next version well have touch power. well first let me say im running a touch PC by HP that was built on vista. and touch screens have bin used by windows since 95 so i think would people mean to say is make the UI more touch friendly. but their has bin a leak out that shows metro style icons to be used for windows 8, this is the same UI interface on zune, zune HD, and windows phone 7. which is very touch friendly UI. so to see metro being brought in i have to say that the next version well be touch friendly. Bill gates him self has said that tablets are the future (back in 07) so now that they have a few w7 tabs on the market or as i like to call them Slates, because i think tablet is more of term for the mobile os, not a full os. any ways now that the market is now their that means that this version well be much more tablet styled.

3) tablet hardware friendly. this new version is sure to add on support for motion controls, GPS, and the like to be more tablet efficient, rather then add those things just to a tablet version.

4) touch programs, windows dues have some touch programs built just for showing off on windows 7, this touch is just a few games, a photo table, and things of that. which are just modified versions of the stuff we see on surface. which is also coming out with version 2 this year.

5) new versions of the basics with touch innovation, media center, media player, movie maker, zune, photo gallery, live photo, office, paint, outlook, IE, live movie maker, live mssnger, and the rest. no doubt some of them well even have visual support as kinect has bin working its way into PC's as well.

6) kinect, lots of people have bin hacking in to the hardware and using it for new applications and programs in life out side of gaming, so MS took the hint right away with its 10,000,000 units sold in 4 months and got to work making it for use in W7, so W8 well sure to be not just touch, but kinect friendly as well.

7) grouping tool bar, their has bin some talk about the toolbar being able to group your programs together so that all of your browsers are in one spot, all of your media players are in another on your toolbar, by hovering over them a display well show all thats inside. this is a sign that they well be taking a lot of W7 and making some evo improvements and some smart design improvements.

now of course most of this is just talk, but not all of it is me so no doubt some of this well work its way in to the new UI/OS. and thus their is more reason to get excited other then better performance. but their is also the reason to get excited for new hardware to support this OS. and is supposedly coming out next year. so cheers

what the xbox 720 (3) should look like

ok dame it, rumers of the next wii come up and so logicly news about xbox comes....from no ware, and yet every one is talking about it, so let me take time to say first off their has bin no word on a new xbox as THEY JUST RELEACED KINECT
BUT, lets also take this time to reflect on what the next xbox should/might have

1) blue ray......ya well DUH

2) posible track pad sensative controller

3) kinect carry over, see thats the thing about wirless, and backwards compatibilaty is logicly you could carry over old controllers. NOW as a track pad controller would be a nice move by xbox (not sure why/how it would be used, but they found lots of them for windows 7 so it shouldent be to hard) but all 3 systems should just carry over their last set of motion controlls.

4) 3D, love it hate it, they still well likely have more support for it, by the end of 2011 lots of GLASSES FREE tv's and yes even MULTI veiw glasses free tv, (no doubt the 3DS well upgrade to this later on) and i have a feeling like custome sound track they well made 3D more of a option rather then a random chance a game well have it.

5) blue tooth controlls, allowing for other controlls, head sets, or using the track pad mouse and a blue tooth keyboard for pc style game play.

6) more mobile suport with the phone, more integration, and see a windows chat built for the MS ecosystem allowing well devices (most likely through a live or MSN chat application) to chat through all devices.

7) free xbox live, the last xbox live was 50$ a month, now its 50$ a year, next time its likely to be less or to be free.

8) as windows phone 7 has integraded a little of every thing (office, xbox, zune, explorer, apps, non xbox games, social, cloud) and seeing how amazingly it was pulled off, i think the next xbox should also have this, wile still being gaming/media centric i think they can bring a better zune program, one that well reflect whats on your pc, zune well carry 3d movies, we can see a word pad/ office pregram and work through cloud, PC at home, tablet at school, xbox on the couch, laptop at coffee/lunch/plane, and phone on the go. and no matter ware you are you can pull up your sky drive account and access that info.
well have a web broser/ with flash, (wii can do it)
and would be just fantastic to have a cloud stream pc to xbox. YES most computers have a HDMI adapter, and most HD tv's even suport a computer screen port, but how nice would it be if i could streem my PC to tv using my xbox, and with no cords.

9) all controllers well be play and charge, not have a seperet kit, not have a AA battery pack ill have to swich out for a charge pack when i get a play and charge.

10) more detailed avatars, and more games that use avatars, wii uses avatar games all the time, for both wii and now 3DS. granted xbox dues have a few but most are non comershal games (indi or arcade) and the indi ones are kind of boring...like paint ball. so it would be cool to have better avatar suport in games, also it would be cool to have a RPG system tied to avatar items for RPG avatar games, so certin clothing or pets well mean something later on in the game.
maybe this well just be tied to a avatar RPG, but it would still be cool for that pet draggon and light saber to do something other then a short animation. and when im spending 2-3 dollers on avatar items i know its going some ware. now the 3DS hase a RPG kind of like this...it runs off of hats and color of your shirt, but its a pre instaled RPG game in the system, so this could be a pre set game for the new xbox, and when you buy new items they work for you in game play.

im sure their is MORE every one well want to add but i think i got 10 good ones in their that well more shape new game play rather then just complaining or saying what she should change.

smash borthers 3ds

this game is in no way bin announced. BUT i thought it would be fun to talk about it. as im sure it would be a plausibility since the graphics of the 3DS are perfect for it. and smash brothers being a side 2g fighting game (playing style not grpahics) would make it perfect for 3d as the screen game is in layers already. and would be perfect for snapping photos, could even have the back ground cut out and use AR to snap chericter photos in real life.


1) so clearly their is the AR, and photo taking upgraded from the game on the wii that let you take photos to your SD card. this would also be cool to send share with friends.

2) perfect fit for 3D with its 2 fighting style and layered back grounds and use(sprits) really make the game fit for 3D.

3) multi-player, with the new friend code system worked out much better, the WIFI and local play, means that the game is going to be grate for multi-player.

4) street pass, this game would be perfect for that, passing around custom levels, photos, and stats. even a trophy battle like super street fighter 4.

5) trophy display would also be grate for AR cards, photos, and 3D. could even trade extra trophys u earn with street pass.

6) the bottom screen could be used for a whole map style mode, or used for fast attacks.

7) story mode, the portable game would be grate for a story mode because its a more .
personal device.

8) video, now that the 3DS has a 3D screen, cut scean videos can be in 3D as well,this would also be a interesting add on.

im sure Nintendo can come up with more things to add, but this is something to think about

ok so this is what iv bin wanting...maybe

me im more partial to a projector VS tv ...simply because

1) portability
if i want i can go camping, go to my office, go to my friends house, or just bring it from one room to the next with not much effort other then re hooking in cords. but hay its better then a 50 lb tv right?

2) multi platform
a projector in todays times can hook up to tv, cable box (or other tv input), a laptop, desktop, gaming, and even mp3 players. most tv's can maybe hook up to your computer....IF....

3) screen size
i can make a projector "any" size i want (for the most part) and still keep a good image. though i well have to make sure the room is dark, thats ok with me.

but now the idea is that their is this 3d projector. which to me is good cus its all the other reasons but now also in 3d

but from the sound of things all media on this thing well be in 3d (providing you ware glasses) ok i can live with that. its really not a big deal...and the people that make it sound like a big deal....your silly.

but something i think still eludes people.
and thats making all media 3d. i see no reason a but a 3d tv that needs a 3d blue ray player AND 3d content....whats the point in spending 4,000+ for a very small WOW factor.
i want the word 3D tv to mean it makes all content 3d, and well yes 3d content well look better then converting "2d" content to 3d it would still make sense that ..thats what it dues.

next im hopping that people have enough sense to make a simple "firmware update" to
the xbox360, wii, and ps3 that includes a 3d option.
so it would just MAKE a 3d image on your tv for you. rather then jumping through hoops just to get SOME of your media to be in 3d.
so if concels could do this it would be amazing because as the image is being rendered it could do all the technical things to make it appear in 3d, and later 3d games would look even better. just the same i hope that indeed that ether this projector
can convert all video into 3d or im hoping one well come out with it soon. just because it hitting the market now dues not mean this is difficult tech or new ...its just new to the public market.

oh silly people...how silly you are about the nintendo 3DS

E3 is ....roughly 2 months away and yet the tech media is biting its fingers at any new info over natal or the 3DS
and it seams that every time some one comes out with any info about the 3ds it has to be taken way to over the top....

ok so hear are my ...more sain thoughts ....seeings how i tend to be more right about things then the media tends to be.

one the 3DS is well...going to have 2 screen DERRRR
and is backwards compatible so lets think for a minit
no one is going to make ONE screen BIGGER then the other because for those games that are backwards .....ummm hello its going to look weird, next Nintendo wants to be game developer friendly CLEARLY and so NO their (im very sure) would not be one big screen one small screen...come on people.

next if u look at the bored it dues not make any sense at all to figure out HOW that thing would work as a gaming device....clearly the shape is off...and since thats the case then im very sure the screens are also off.
as for other thoughts of it being ONE screen in 3d......silly Nintendo would look rather silly showing up with only one screen in 3d.....i mean that would be like the DS having one screen in color and the other in B&W.

but like i said in another blog, the 3DS well probably come with
better and more high rez screens in widescreen.
it well also probably take a higher rode with more like game cube like graphics or at least something u see on the zune HD with the tegra chip from Nvidea.
(also hopefully each screen well not only be touch but multi touch)

but ull also take note their is no arrow key pad with i dont know about u but that would take a lot out of the game play for those backwards games so like the psp it well probably have both or just the classic game boy arrow key pad

e3 prediction 2010 (first entry)

ok first off i well say what we do know about the new gaming system befor i go on the rest of the rant.

first of what is ABSOLUTLY clear about nintendo's new game boy for 2010

it that it WELL have 3d veiwing....with out the need for some neato shades (glasses)

and that it well still work in stero scopic way....like

though it is unclear how this effect well happen with out the glasses.

what is interesting how ever is if the 3d well work with the 3d-graphics

thus producing a REALY grate effect much better then a movie.

we also know that if you want u can turn this effect off.

we do know it is also backwards compatible with ds/dsi games

wich means what people? it can take piks....and if i can take piks it must have a camera(s)

that being said, thats all we realy know about this thing.

SO let the predictions begin...

1) if has to have a camera im only guessing that this means that the DSi was a prototype for people to buy, see what the consumer likes then inprove those likes for the 3DS

so as for that camera or two like in the dsi it well most likely see a BIG increase in pixel count

im guessing their going to take a look around at things like the MS kin and iphone and other such things to see what kind of main streem cameras their starting to put in products wich has only just resently started to make mega pixel count get bigger.

for example the kin two has a 8 mega pixel camera and HD video

(maybe the 3DS well have video as play/record as well)

so im going to say that the 3DS well have a grater mega pixel count with much HIGHER rez

this well also be very good for those DSi games that use a camera u well probably be able to play the games a lot better.

2) more integration with social media networks (twitter, facebook, myspace)

i would love to see not only the obilaty to upload to facebook my photos, but also twitpick, and myspace.

or to have a re designed pictochat that includes a twitter option, and even a option to skype, or to just have skype app in general. i mean if u have a mic and camera, and they can hook up to the 3DS's wireless internet....then why not have a Skype, yahoo, or MSN chat option. skype is just fine for me, but most of my contacts are on yahoo.

3) this one we kinda know, but not sure if this is when its going to come out.....but most likely well be, that of course is the rumble stylus

this well be REALY cool for gaming finely....not only is it a interesting idea to have rumble. but to aslso have it out side of the gaming system. and if it is for the 3DS i cant wait to see how it works, feels, and people's reactions to it along with the 3D

REQUESTS

better shoping network....im talking something with real apps not just games. and with better quality in downloud games.

but at the same time apps that would make sence on the 3Ds not just some random crap that you would see on the silly out of controle iphone/ipod/ipad market

also ebooks.....its got 2 screens opens like a book....it better have ebooks

software for the device that would allow me to watch/convert video(wmv, vidx), music (to MP3!!!! not weird mac file) and or piks (jpg)

keep the use of the use of the SD card slot. my camera uses it, my HP touch smart uses it, my wii uses it......and my curent DSi uses it......it better keep it for the 3DS.

by the way its nice to know i can take piks with the DSi, or take piks and vid with my camera then just put it in the wii and then see them big on my tv or when i get my next toy the pico

MR gates him self told fox news that MS is working on several tablet projects.

so like i said courier is just going through identity issues. but well be back with new style but same grace

today Gizmodo realsed something VERY silly.

they claimed the courier died...... which is just silly.

lets think about this for a second....then i well reach out and slap Gizmodo for bothering to speak about this.

knowing what the courier is, means they have dumped a LOT of money into it.

which means that if they let as much talk generate and information be released on it.

which means they have no doubt bin reading some of the word from the people on the divice.

which means they know how bad people want it

SO, first off MS is no fool they know that abandoning the project would be a foolish move.

they have done no such thing.

SO lets take a look at the company right now as of whats going on.

1) they just came out with a new OS (windows 7)

2) they just came out with a new zune (zune HD)

3) are about 2 weeks away from releasing KIN

4) have a big show at E3 to release the Xbox slim and Natal

5) all of the crazy dealing with the new Natal game developers, and windows mobile app developers

6) the fall release of Xbox Natal, Xbox slim, Windows mobile 7 phones

not to mention any other projects the R&D labs might be working on

that they are probably just putting the "courier" off to the side for now

which clearly means it not dead.....not dead.....not dead

but why my ("") cus hear is what is MOST likely going on.

1) renaming the thing, Xbox was not going to be originally called Xbox 360

but the name stuck. but the name was like how Nintendo called the wii "Nintendo revelation"

but Nintendo stated it was just an idea name. MS just stuck with 360. but originally it was going to be called something elce.

hints the release of "Xbox slim" not being called "Xbox slim 360"

and Xbox Natal...not "Xbox 360 natal" or Xbox Natal 360"

they are hinting of the NEXT Xbox being called NOT Xbox 720

so "courier" is probably going through identity issues and is probably changing its name.

2) after the ipad and its stupid ass showed up with no HD, no camera (let alone HD camera)

no microphone, or USB option for a key bored, camera extra....

MS is probably looking at the faults and redeeming things about ipad and applying them to the

"live journal" or "tablet" project

3) they are probably upping things such as

if MAC (ya thats right i said it the compeny name is MAC not apple)

if MAC (short for Macintosh) has no camera

u can be pretty sure the "live journal" well have a HD camera

if mac has no pen, then the "live journal" well have a digetizer pen like HP touch pens

....and so on

4) as time goes by the price for a GB goes down. when it comes out it well probably have more memory then ipad.

5) also they just acquired a lot of the app (short for application) to work on the windows mobile 7

that means that app compeys of 3rd party would have to then be called to work on stuff for the "live jernal" as well. making the app making market people go down.

so they probably want focus on windows mobile 7 (long for wm7) for now at least.

6) clearly with WM7 and KIN they want to include zune in the product this well be a deffenit for the "live journal" as well. and some sort of windows CE.

so they probably (this is more of a hunch) but they are probably going to see how the WM7 dues in peoples hands and see what kind of things are developed for it.

that way they can better apply it to the "live journal"

the same could be said from what it can take from HP slate

in all i well hold my ground as say with all things considered above the "courier" is not dead

just having identity issues and well be back later looking better then ever and with a new name

so sure gizmodo the name "courier" is probably dead....but not the product.

dear xbox (one)

ok SOOOOOO, from what im hearing in the RUMMER MILL is that surffergirl is claiming that xbox well be releasing a SLIM version of the xbox 360 in black along with Natal this fall and from what i would consider a DUH when it comes to M.G.S. standing for metal gear solid.

the thing i have to say is, im getting a 20gb refurbished xbox (with 2 controllers) from gamestop.

and im only buying it with the understanding that Natal well work with the 360. and wile i would only guess that a slim xbox 360 would work the same as a reguler 360 and their for work with Natal. i still wonder if that is the case hear?

going back to ALL motion controllers for a moment i would have to say that this is a good time for all the 3D tv's to come out. i think that sure its gimiky for movies and every once and a wile you might get something good out of it.

but for gaming this well be amazing, and adding motion controlles to it.....were getting to be having a truly grate gaming experience hear.

the Zune HD

ok so i have already talked about the zune HD before but lets just try to make a short and sweet blog about it, and to the point of this blog series which is just expressing the OMG about MS this year. on that not i do relize that the zune HD came out last year, but like W7 it well be realy coming to life this year

so lets begin

1) OLED, ok for most people we could care less what the screen is so long as it dues a good job making a picture. that being said other then the siance that makes up the OLED the picture is the best thing you can see on such a small area to put a screen in, and since a OLED is basicly a screen printed on fabric (hear is a cheristmess tree made of a OLED screen) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqMXk3mntOQ

so what is the scince of the OLED ? first of it pruduces light in the pixel no back light

(like ipod, cells phones, game boy, ds, PSP, gps.....)

this means brighter colors, and that the blacks well be true black cus their well be NO color coming from the "black" area

it also means that since theis is no back light that their is a longer battery life

3 hours longer then the ipod touch to be in perspective. and its a high responsive multi touch screen.

2) the Nvidea tegra chip, this handy chip in caparison with the graphics in the ipod touch are worlds apart in this case ipod is = to n64 and zune HD is = to xbox (original)

3) HD radio, ok you might ask your self WTF do i need radio for when i have a MP3 player in the first place....and i say to you SHUT UP, cus you probably dont like music then. if you really LOVE music you still listen to the radio, and HD means longer area to listen in, no static, and 2-3 channels on HD stations. which most radio stations brodcaset in HD already. so if their is comershels on one channel u can just switch to a different channel on that same station. and of course the obilaty to tag those songs on your shopping cart for latter.

4) HD video out, it plays HD video but clearly is not big enough to enjoy on such a small screen so you can just hook it up to the TV and play that HD video.

5) other such things!!!!, eceleromitor (the device that makes it motion sensitive)

smart DJ (costume play lists based on info thats on the song, album, or artist)

creating play lists in the divice

apps though not a large selection of apps now, all the BIG stuff is coming in the holiday season of 2010, when windows mobile 7, and courier are in the market. both of those devices well share the zune software and share media like apps and games.

how their is some good apps/ games for it already 15 good ones in perspective apple has only made 5 of their own apps the rest are all 3rd party, so realy MS is kicking em out good.

things like calculator, facebook, twitter, bowling, project gothem racing, texes hold em, audio surf... wich all allow you to play music during game/app play.

software based on simple, artistic, and user friendly system. wich click and drag, for sysnking to divice, changing meta data by dropping making a play list, or what ever elce.

subscription based music survice thats $14 a month for unimeted down loading.

not to mention its part of the "MS ecosystem" allowing you to talk to your xbox 360, pc, surface, mobile 7, and courier.

Microsoft is taking its name (part one)

so lets us start with the first of MS prodcuts, it was released last year i know, but their are still a lot of people getting it on their PC and people saving up for it, not to mention it came out late in the year. of cource this is windows 7

so lets brake down why this is such a big deal

well for one its Microsoft's new OS so that alone says WOW. but why its this extra wow?

1) instead of just coming out with a NEW OS they decided to just reinvent Vista. basicly its the same OS in a lot of ways, or in looks any way. but from a software prespective much has bin inproved upon. and for the better.

2) rather then just releace BIG updates to make the OS of Vista better. they just took all the good ideas from Vista and XP rolled it into one, wile taking out all te problembs.

3) it uses less power to run, thats right now your 90 min battery well run about 120 min

i know mine has changed for the better with W7 now on my HP touchsmart laptop.

4) WOW its so much faster......like almost x2 faster.

5) the tool bar window pains. at first it just looks like cool eye candy but it realy is part of the BIG difference. u can take any icon and "pin" it to the tool bar, it well temperarely pin when u open a program. (like it always has) but it only shows the icon now, rather then the icon and txt. wich personely i think is better.

as you can see theis is a icon window pain on the bottom tool bar (i personely put my tool bar on the right side of my screen)

and it well also group all windows of that same program and put it into the same icon window pain. when u click or hover of the pain it well show u small windows of the windows that are open

4) though most of the updates are BIG things that just make the OS easer to use and work fast and more intuitive, one cool thing i like about W7 is the theme controle, u can make our own or down loade new ones, or even just use the ones it comes with, each one his its own set of sounds, color of glass, and selection of backgrounds that well change, and change at the speed you want. i personely love the zune art themes the wallpaper is brilent and the sounds are interesting but have a zen quality to them.

reveiwing the DSI

so i just got the NIN-tendo (Nintendo) DSI

latter i well be doing a review on youtube

so hears what i have to say for now

having had the first DS, and have had my hands on the DS light

id have to say that it still ways some ware in the range of the DS light, and still much lighter then the first DS

now their are several NEW added things, and a much bigger change then going from DS to DS light.

first off i have to point out this

(game slots)

tottely bumbed out over the loss of the GBA game slot. and since the Wii dues not have what the game cube had to play GBA on the game cube....i have to say im sads

that being said their is still clearly a card slot for DS/DSI games

(whats NEW)

~ wireless/broser~

ok DS has always had the obilaty to connect over the internet for online play

and the DS had a game wich you could buy that would allow u to surf the web

but the new relace of the DSI now includes a built in web broser, and uses both screens

one for zoom in, one for zoom out, and u can swich between the 2. the broser its self is MUCH like that of the Wii, only a DS version.

its also about a 8/10 on the fast scale on loading pages.

you can also save faverits, and even use a ...useless hand writing obilaty to type. wich is just silly when u have a touch key bored that is just YEARS faster

~camera~

ok the DSI wich stands for D-ueal S-creen I-ndividuality

as the Wii stands for we as in togetherness and family and the "i"'s stands for a person. the i in the DSI stands for a single person.

the DSI has severial costimizing options, color change, name, brithday registration, naming your DSI, saving faverit places to you broser, and even arangeing the programs you have on your DSI in what ever order you want.

the DSI also comes with 2 built in cameras. furthering your customization by allowing you to

take photos, eddet photos, and the DSi well pik your last pik taken and put it on the top screen to veiw as a "wallpapper-esk" ...thing

how ever something anoiying is every time you take a pik it well make the ""CLICK"" sound...even when you have volume OFF or have headphones in.

~DSI sound~

the new DSi has a SD card slot just like the Wii and used just the same to store, games, save info, and now piks...AND music.....id like to say MP3 ...but thats not what it is....it some file save i have NEVER heard off...but i guess thats cus i dont use a MAC or any lame product they have made.

but any way its a Itunes music file. so good news for you that use ipod and mac, you can use itunes to convert your music to this file type...then u can put the music on your DSI, and play it. even eddet it with random things like pich and speed change, and even do other such random things like make ur music sound like a 8-bit style.

my question for this is....well if you have itunes then you most likely have a ipod....so whats the point of taking all the time and energy just to play that music on your DSI when you most likely have your ipod right next to you.

that being said its still a interesting thing to have...even though it is not realy an PM3 file. and in fact this file type reduces quality of the music. so i realy dont understand it. HOW EVER

their is also the obilaty to record your voice (or what ever) through the DSI mic

and also save eddet the recordings on the new and extended inturneal memorie.

~apps/games~

well since the world has just gottem more and more APP zombies ever sinc the first palm piolet has come out (what happend to those)

their are apps and games you can down load on the DSI shop channel

tottely exciting.

you can down load them to your internal memorie or SD card.

and u can use the same account you have from your Wii.

ZUNE VS ipod touch ......VS DSI VS PSP GO

first off lets just talk soft ware 1) smart DJ vs genius smart DJ take comprehnsive information such as bands influinsed by the artist/song/albalm and or bands that relate genuis only takes bands of that ganre. then with smart DJ u can save the new play list, it also comes up with NEW bands that u dont have songs to. so u can alsways find NEW music.

2) lay out zune lats u costimize from 11 different themes i tunes is ...gray... zune has a simple TAB system that lets u choose, your system IE, divice, computer, store, sosial, chanel, apps, .... and also sub tabs , songs, albalm, aritst, director, tv, movie, ..... and changing albalm info is as easy as drag and drop, or even a simple right click to eddit metadata.

3) u can conect ur divice to ur WIFI and send it new songs and other midea. wich once u start using theis feacher u end up using it all the time. 4) itunes, zune, and rapcity all have movies, songs, tv shows, pod casts. but only itunes and zune have apps i tunes dues have a app selection that has built over 4-5 years and zunes app store is only ...1 month old. so it well be a wile befor it has the same kind of library. but what it can do is look at all mac apps and copy and make better, wich it is doing by take the 15 tiwitter apps from itunes and making one well rounded titter app.

4) games note that both divices have touch, screen and motion sensiing (ecelaromiter) but the zune is multie touch...and only the NEW ipod touch 3g has multi touch. but zune also has presure sensativaty. and thinks to its NEW INAVATIVE technology of the OLED screen the screen is 30% more vivid in color, and deeper blacks, higher pix count (becuase the screen is on fabric not glass) this new screen also is a few cenimeters thiner because of this fabric creen it also makes the touch tech more sensative then the ipod so when it comes to gaming its well rounded for the fun aspect but what about game play? sure it might have a brigter screen with higher color rez, and new up to date ecelaromiter, and even a multi touch pressure sensative screen...but what about grifics? well ugh hem it has the latist Nvidea graphic card....wich is not even released for computer yet. so mac couldent even have used it...not that it uses Nvidea any way is uses some other brand of graphic card.....even though Nvidea is what u well see in just about every computer....and OMG thats right its in EVERY gaming system DS, WII, PSP, PS3, Xbox, XBOX 360...and oh ya the ZUNE. so what u well realy be buying is the xbox game boy

5)game sales xbox clearly has the biggist library of games. and game developers. so not only is it going to be using REAL game developers for its games (like it has allready) wich mac just highers no name developers and random 3rd party devolpers for its games/apps. so whats the big deal? well wich would u rather buy a game from? bungie...the creator of HALO or.....

Ugh hem……oh ya that’s right appl wont release the name of the developers on its site or on its app store….that way people can….never know or try and contact those devolopers…cus….mac is a greedy company that dues not like to share…..

6) zune pass/xbox points/xbox live/ zune points VS itunes….

Well if u use xbox live/zune points/ xbox points u can spend all those same points on eather system (providing ur not retarted and u set up just one acount)

So what lets say u want to buy a game off of xbox arcade

(wich a lot of games including xbox arcade games well be making a zune version)

So u can buy that game with lets say ….500 points

U can then use the remainder of those 1000 points (u would have 500 left)

And u can spend it on movies, apps, or songs for the zune…and not have ot buy 2 cards for both…..and if u have zune pass u can get 1000 points + uniletid songs for the whole month so spend those 1000 points on movies, or apps, or xbox stuff, and get as much music as u want all month!!!

Or with itunes u can pay $10+ for a movie/tv show

Or spend $1 per song…..even though with zune pass u can not only down load unlimited all month u could always use those 1000 points at the end of the month and still pay $1

If you realy wanted to….(rolles eyes)

7) zune social, is an amazing tool, u can not only creat a zune account, but then after words zune well ceep track of all the band info u create till u plug zune back in (or conect on wifi)

So ur zune account well show how Meany times u have listened to a song, artist, album, or ganre….u can also go into mix view and find other zune users and talk with them share songs,bands….exe and also can find new bands with mix view, and much more

U can even win badges that put u in listening status, so u can ba a “power listener”

So when people use mix view u could be a profile that comes up, and u ur listening staus well also them to see what bands u listen to and find out other grate info.

Itunes just lets u buy media…..end…..tottely taking the social experience out of the media and yes this works with pod casts, and movies as well

8) wall papper wow effect

Wile itunes is still gray, it dues let u see ur albam art (providing u have it)

In big squares…..

Zune pulls up 1 of 2 effects, 1 if zune has updated band info (and ur connected to the internet) it well pull up art by ur band and diplay it with a cool gradient effect, that displays song name, artist, albam and even how menay times that song has bin played by other zune users.

And if ur not connected, then it well show a cool wall of all ur albalm art and it well change randomly to other cd’s

9) PIN

Zune lets u pin any media u want (like th things u want a short cut to)

And place that pin to ur quick play wall. This well let u simply click on ur pin wall and pull up any apps/video/music/piks u want quick access to. Both on the zune and zune software

Mac has no such soft ware…but BOTH also have a search bar

Wich the zune soft ware also pulls up maches to things u don’t have in your library

That way u can always be looking for NEW stuff…and with zune pass its not like ur wasting a lost of money…u already spent it…now use that unlimited town loading

10) NEW MEDIA BOARD

Also in your quick play board u can click on new media

(both in the soft ware and on the zune)

And see what new stuff u have…this is a grate tool for listeners like me who down load like 20+ songs a week. And I always forget what I got….

Itunes also has not such feacher

11) HISTORY BORED

This also can be found in the quick play bored. It lest u simply see the history of what u have bin listening to, so u can simply find what u were just, listening to or watching, using.

Ok so for the sake of this being a VS between the ipod touch…I well only be talking about the ZUNE HD…not older ipods or older zunes

1) SCREEN

Ipod touch dues have a slightly bigger screen….by just a hair…but what the hell they do have a slightly bigger screen….

BUT as I have explained already the zune has a brighter screen.

Why is that?

Well most TV’s/ all cell phones and other portable media divices use LED

Or light emiting diod technology

This allows a diod (pixel) to create a color, how ever

This dues not creat light. Their for a light sorce is needed along with the screen wich means power is used to create the color, and power a light.

(old games boy black and white did not have a back blight)

New OLED tech or (ORGANIC light emiting diod tech)

Is a screen created on a type of fabric, this fabric of corce has no real pixels, so the image can be verry vivid and detailed and not limited to displaying in milons of tinly glass squares.

This one can resalt in a much higher picture. Also on the plus side of things. This screen creates its own light and color, saving 3 hours of battery life (compared to the ipod tuch)

Wich u may not need 3 extra hours, but u might want 10 exctra minets.

Also because this OLED is esentualy a peace of fabric, the zune is lighter and thiner the the ipods. And also because there are no real pixels the screen is not as limited in color information, and more vivid colors and deeper blacks can be created.

2) you Microsoft network

So lets say u have a zune, a xbox, and a pc. Id u do already have a xbox and pc u should know the 2 of them can talk wirlessly on your home network. And share media, movies, songs, pics. Well if u add your zune to the mix, u get even more, because the zune can talk with ur pc wirlessly, but also your zune can talk to you xbox and also wirlessly

And u can share your zune points with your xbox account

And share movies, pix, tv shows, songs, and OH YA now games (coming in full force December)

3) the age of HD

omg are we comparing mp3 players still? Or are we talking about protable xbox and some portibal media divice…

Well esentualy were not talking about a simple mp3 player any more. We have gotten way more edvanced.

Not only can we look at just music, video, and pix.

But now both systems can brose the internet.

Both have apps stores,

But now the zune takes it a step further, ur not just playing a video, now u can out the video (or screen) now u can also send HD video to your TV

U can also listen to HD radio, wich is a high definition radio,

Wich is AMAZING because it can receave not only band info and such when ur listening to a song, but now the quality is better then regular radio (and if u have the FM tuner NOW UR CAR WELL GET HD RADIO

But also each station bradcasts is as meany as 3 chanels of media, so if u don’t like the song but like the station u can see what elce that station is playing!!!

Not to meantion there are meany more stations in HD.

And of corce there is song tagging, wich is anoth life savor moment, when u hear a song u like can can save it to your shoping cart. To get later.

Now I well say that if u want u can down load the XM radio app for your ipod BUT 2 things 1 u need to have wifi conection, or hooked up to a 3g netowork (wich u well have to pay to get the network)

But u well also have to pay for XM radio….wtf….so ya u can listen to XM radio but wouldn’t u rather spend that money on zune pass and just buy the songs rather then a survice to hear those songs, and a survice to get the survice?

And no, ipod dues not video out HD video…in fact u can put HD video on it….WOW

Why is that a big deal? Well I get to watch HD video on my laptop, and if I have a HD tv then why shouldn’t I be able to send HD video to my tv….my xbox lets me do that…so why the hell now, and OMG if im buying HD movies (wich all movies , and blue ray are in HD) so to not have HD video out is like WTF

4)ok so I well say this about ipod touch, it has a camera…but it takes things at 1-2 mega pixel…WOOOOOO a pik 1 ½ inch big….WOOOOO how fucking stupid is that?

I bought a camera for my pix think u, and it takes 8.5 mega pixel. So I don’t realy give a god dame about a camrea…..ok for gaming elements it might be cool, but that’s why im getting a DSI…..so I don’t care

Ok it has a mic….granted it has realy horrible play back and only some ipod touch have one…..its still not something I realy care about.

Once again when I want to use that feacher I well get a DSI wich also OMG has better recoriding and even has a memo option to record personal messages, not to mention I can use it to talk to other people using a DSI and use its 2 cameras to take bigger pix and use for video chat……so I think I well stick with the DSI for those such things. And OMG that’s right If I use a DSI I have another APP store DSI ware, and also I get games that are made by real developers once again…

And as zune is slowly reveling that it’s the answer to the PSP and DSI NOT the answer to the ipod. I can still say I would stick with a PSP or a DSI for games.

But still zune is looking amazing for being a portable xbox

So thinking about it….ummmm thinking about it…..why the hell am I comparing the zune to the ipod touch when I should be comparing it to the ipod touch and the DSI and the PSP

All of them have app stores, all of them play games, all have a mp3 player, can view pix and can views video…..

Ok so my point is clear zune beats the shit out of ipod touch hands down.

But how dues it stack up to the PSP and DSI?

that’s a better question. So lets take out the mp3 player stuff, movies, pix

Well first off lets look at their apps stores

Psp has had its since it came out…but ……it also hase never released any thing on it, except game updates….WOOOOO wich almost no game has any…..go figure

Ok DS just became DSI like 3 months ago, so to say its app store all ready has 48 games

And apps is a job well done, though meany of the apps are as simple as “photo clock”

And most of the games are gimic games like “my sims camera” that just take things from other games and then just make a cute little game.

But granted that’s still a lot of games and apps

What about the zune?

Well it came out the stating gate with

7 games and 2 apps

Making a tottel of 9 things wich may not look like it stacks wel up agenst the 2 month old DSI ware app store BUT that’s just at first glance see zune is only a month old DSI ware is 3 months old, and when it first started it only had 5 things

So in retrospect the zune is ahead of the DSI, not to mention most of the DSI games/apps are just exploiting the use of a camera and mic, along with the touch screen.

So 3 months from now, we can see how far zune apps have come.

And wile ipod may apear to be realy cool with its 13,000 + apps

(wich most are just copping other apps, like their dame 13 twitter apps)

You also have to take into acount that the app-le store is about 5+ years old. So thay have clearly had to time to build up, how ever if u look at when they first started they only also had 5 apps.

So after 5+ years we can look back on the DSI and zune and see how far they took this app store and how far they took the idea of portable xbox.

2) graphix

Ok so the zune already beats ipod touhc in this hands down, simply by it having a Nvidea graphix card….but HAY the DSI and PSP have Nvidea…so how dues that stack up.

….well once again zune take sthe cake. It has the newest version of Nvidea, even the new psp dues not have this yet. And clearly it rapes the DSI with the fact that it still has a square screen so when u care looking at something with a wide screen view it gets even smaller…..poo

But how dues it stack up agenst the new PSP screen

AH this one is FINELY a chalinge

Well realy the kinda both win in a sence.

The PSP dues not have a OLED screen….wich sucks because that means the zune still has longer batter, brighter screen, more color, and deeper blacks, and can be thiner, not to meantion malti touch presure sensitive screen…BUT the PSP dues have a bigger screen….I mean WAY bigger almost a good inch, now in hinds site it wont fit in your pocket as easy, but the good thing about this is that u can just have a bigger screen, …OH but wait it also suports HD video…so HD video may be realy cool on a bigger screen….so wich ever u prefer im still guna give this one to zune ….because of the OLED vs. the OLED….but screen size is something to consider any way….

3) camera

now DSI has a pritty desent camera for its size …in fact it has 2 of them

PSP has a camera u can buy for it…but is realy shity and almost completely useless unless u use it for just plainly taking pix……BORING

And the ipod touch has a camrera as well….wich works realy cool for some games and apps but once again I don’t realy need a 1-2 mega pixel camera to take photos, that turn out still bleeding and fuzzy. But the DSI actoly has 2 OMG 4 mega pixel cemeras, and a built in photo eddetor. OMG

Zune has no camera….that being said I still don’t want one on it any because 1 that would make the zune thicker, and 2 I only want it for the DSI

4) games ok so as the prtibal xbox idea goes its guna take a few months to build its library but its pumping fast to do so, but in that thought I cant realy compare games from the zune just yet…but that being said id have to say that the DSI still wins

Simply because it has 2 screen, one touch, has 2 cameras, and now it has a Sd card slot, so it pritty much has the gaming experience down, it might not have the best graphix but it still rapes at gaming. So GO DSI

That being said and all things considerd, zune and DSI rape

OH also the points u buy for Wii well work on ur DSI as well. So that’s also a plus

So sorry but ipod touch and PSP…..u fail,

And u still end up saving money getting a zune for $20 cheeper then ipod touch
